Professional Bio

Hello there and welcome! My name is Rachel Greear! I help individuals within the adolescent (11-18 years) through the adulthood range. My focus in therapy is helping clients with anxiety, depression, trauma work, and life adjustment. I provide a space for reflection and healing and work with those who are ready to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. With curiosity and empathy my hope is to inspire a place of growth and change.

I am what would be described as an eclectic therapist as I utilize several different approaches based on the client’s needs such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Through the use of a variety of techniques and models, my hope as your therapist is to shine light on different paths and to foster growth and confidence.

Why I do this work

Both of my parents worked in helping professions while I was growing up. I saw on a day-to-day basis how gratifying it was to serve the community and was inspired by them to continue doing so.

Best part of my job

I love to learn from my patients and the opportunity to see growth is such a magical part of therapy!

Beyond the therapy room

Outside of the therapeutic space I enjoy spending time with friends, cooking, and working out.
