Alex Theobald,
PhD, LMFT

Site Lead, Supervisor, Therapist
He/Him – Colorado

Phonetic pronunciation: AL-ex THEE-oh-bald

Professional Bio

I help couples, families, and individuals who feel stuck, broken, betrayed, and disconnected. I believe no one is ultimately defined by the worst things they’ve done nor by the worst things that have happened to them. Whatever your wounds may be, growth is possible. Change requires courage, compassion, and commitment and is often a messy and non-linear process. I am committed to being someone who won’t flinch at your truth and will connect with you throughout your pain, healing, and growth.

Why I do this work

One of my life’s purposes is to help others throughout their experiences with change, pain, and growth. I believe our suffering and triumphs in the pursuit of mental and relational health can be transformative and lead to living a more meaningful life.

Best part of my job

I deeply appreciate the honor of being entrusted with the responsibility of facilitating and witnessing change within the lives of my clients. Being connected with individuals, couples, and families as they strive to grow and heal from their wounds and find meaning in their suffering is one of the greatest privileges of my life.

Beyond the therapy room

Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, music, the outdoors, and time with my loved ones. My wife and two sons enjoy spending time together listening to music, reading books, riding bikes, playing with legos, and cheering on our favorite F1 teams.
