Why I do this work
Best part of my job
The most rewarding part of my work is witnessing my clients’ growth and hearing how therapy has positively impacted their lives. Progress looks different for everyone. It may mean developing greater self-awareness, understanding symptoms, building effective coping skills, or recognizing how past experiences influence thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and behaviors. Over time, progress can also mean navigating challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and confidence—and recovering more quickly when difficult moments arise. The feedback I’ve received from clients, both verbal and written, continues to remind me why I chose this profession. This isn’t just a career for me—it’s my passion.
Beyond the therapy room
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dog children Lily and Lucy. I also make time for my own creative expression through art, whether I’m creating for fun, self-expression, or simply enjoying mindful coloring. I also enjoy live music and caring for my indoor plants.
