Adia Guidry

Hello! I am Adia. I’m a therapist here at Denver Mental Health Collective, but you can also call me a Trauma Counselor, Anxiety Navigator, & Relationship Restorer.

I help adults and couples navigate the complexities of trauma, anxiety, and PTSD to rediscover stability and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. By addressing communication breakdowns, rebuilding trust, and guiding couples through infidelity recovery, I aim to foster stronger connections and renewed confidence.

My ideal clients are individuals and couples who are ready to embrace change. Whether you’re struggling with unresolved trauma, persistent anxiety, or the fallout of relationship challenges, I provide a supportive, collaborative, and safe environment to explore your concerns and take actionable steps toward healing and growth.

Trauma Counselor

Are you carrying the weight of past experiences that seem impossible to shake? Trauma can leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, and unsure of how to move forward. Together, we will uncover the root of your pain, helping you process and heal in a way that feels safe and empowering. My approach prioritizes compassion and collaboration, ensuring that you’re supported every step of the way. As we work through your trauma, you’ll find renewed clarity and the confidence to face life’s challenges.

Anxiety Navigator

Do you find yourself overwhelmed by worry, fear, or unease that disrupts your daily life? Anxiety can feel isolating, but you don’t have to face it alone. I help clients understand their triggers, reframe negative thought patterns, and develop effective coping strategies. Through our work together, you can experience relief, a greater sense of calm, and the ability to fully engage with the things that matter most to you.

Relationship Restorer

Is your relationship struggling under the weight of communication issues, broken trust, or unresolved conflict? For couples, navigating challenges like infidelity and mistrust can feel daunting, but it’s possible to rebuild and strengthen your connection. I work with couples to improve communication, resolve lingering hurts, and restore intimacy. By fostering honest dialogue and mutual understanding, we’ll create a path toward a stronger, more resilient partnership.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of California, in Davis and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College. My training includes work with trauma, anxiety, and relationship dynamics, equipping me to support clients through a wide range of challenges.

MORE ABOUT ME

I’ve been married for 17 years and have 3 precious children, along with a lovable dog who completes our family. When I’m not in session, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, sketching, and taking walks to recharge. I also love spending time by the ocean and find inspiration in its calming beauty. I describe myself as a great listener with an understanding heart, and I’m passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for my clients.

I see clients virtually. Please contact our office today to schedule a free phone consultation. During this time, our Client Care Coordinator can talk more about what’s going on and how I can help you feel better.
