Hi! My name is Adriana, and I am a mental health therapist, here at Denver Mental Health Collective. You can also call me an Anxiety Tamer, a Crown Straightener, or a Depression Navigator.
Anxiety Tammer
We all face fears every day. Fear is a natural response to stress, but when symptoms become all-consuming and interfere with daily living, then anxiety is no longer serving us but hindering us. I help my clients keep their anxiety at bay by figuring out the root cause of the worries they are experiencing, developing a healthier lifestyle, troubleshooting their racing thoughts, and by being a sounding board for coping strategies.
A Crown Straightener
Life often gets hard and messy, and our metaphorical crown tends to get crooked, therefore we need someone to adjust it from time to time. I help clients get back their confidence, feel in control of their lives, and take on any challenge with their head held high and their crown shining bright.
Depression Navigator
Just like the sirens in the Odyssey, depression often calls for us to steer our ship into the proverbial rocks. But just as Ulysses did not let his men go mad, I will help my clients sail the treacherous waters of despair and come out as skilled mariners ready to face the challenges ahead. Together, we will navigate the treacherous waters and
develop skills to understand depression and how to fight the symptoms associated with it.
How I can help
I look at my clients, holistically, through a person-centered lens. I try and understand the person in front of me wholly, and I know that they are the sum of their parts. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them take responsibility for their lives while providing a safe space to talk, self-actualize, process emotions, and make positive changes in their lives.
More about me

In my free time I enjoy reading, biking, hiking, travelling, paddle boarding, discovering new restaurants and trying all sorts of cuisines.
