Che Williams MS, LPC, CCTP

Hello! I am Ché. I’m a therapist here at Denver Mental Health Collective, but you can also call me a Growth Gardener, Philosophy Finder, & Trauma Rewirer.

My goal is to help young adults and adolescents decrease their negative internal experiences and rely on their strengths to live a meaningful life that aligns with their values.

My ideal clients are those who have experienced traumatic events or have anxiety, depression, stress, or are transitioning to new seasons in life. You may be coping through addiction, healing from past abusive relationships, or wanting to reach the next level in your career.

Growth Gardener:

Are you ready to thrive? I aim to provide an ideal environment and relationship for growth to happen. I want you to be able to identify and express your needs, starting within the counseling room. I will support you throughout the growth process and in reaching the goals that you have for yourself. You are the only you, and I would be honored to witness your process.

Philosophy Finder:

Do you see the world through colored lenses? Many of us experience events in life that impact the way we see the world, other people, and ourselves. These mindsets are so automatic that it takes effort to challenge them. I am curious about the way you experience the world and in exploring with you the ways a new perspective could be helpful. There are endless possibilities for how you could choose to move through the world.

Trauma Rewirer:

Living through trauma is rarely a choice, but empowerment comes from exercising your choice to heal from it. You may feel stuck in certain patterns. I will be a gentle, compassionate, non-judgmental witness to your lived experiences, offering my expertise when helpful and holding space for all parts of you. Healing from trauma is hard work; it impacts us in profound ways, yet growth and healing do happen.

Education & Training

I received my Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Southeastern University in 2018. I received my Bachelor of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in 2014. I enjoyed helping others in a human resources role prior to transitioning to counseling. I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am licensed in both Colorado and Florida. I have worked for several years in a residential setting for substance use and co-occurring disorders and for a few years with at-risk adolescent girls in the community.
