Delaney Peck

Hello! My name is Delaney Peck. I’m a therapist here at Denver Mental Health Collective, but you can also call me a Resilience Architect, Body Positivity Advocate, & Life Transitions Change Coach.

I help adults utilize the skills within their toolboxes to live lives with greater purpose, resilience, and fulfillment.

My ideal clients are young adults who are looking for help navigating the development of their newfound adult identities and exploring the challenges that come along with these milestones.

Resilience Architect

Do you wish you had stronger resources to reach for in times of challenge?

In our work together we will explore pre-existing skills that you already possess within yourself, and work to implement new strategies for those difficult times in life. By fortifying a vast toolbox to be used in life’s tricky situations, you will feel more confident and resilient in the face of adversity.

This will be a collaborative process keeping in mind that you are the expert in your own life. I will be there to support you and help highlight the strength you might not be able to see within yourself right away.

Body Positivity Advocate

Are you tired of having a negative self-image?

As a body positivity advocate, I believe that everyone deserves to have a healthy, celebratory relationship with their bodies. I want to walk alongside you in your journey towards selfcompassion and challenging the unrealistic standards of society.

To accomplish this we will work together to understand your core beliefs about yourself and the negative feelings that accompany them. Once you understand how these negative thoughts impact your self-view, we can work together to restructure your thoughts to those that are more kind and beneficial to you.

Life Transitions Change Coach

Are you experiencing an exciting change or unexpected turn within your life?

Whether you are entering or leaving college, facing a career shift, experiencing a relationship milestone, or navigating any of the twists and turns that life throws at you, I’m here to help.

My goal is to help you feel clarity and confidence while moving through your life transitions. Together we will explore the challenges and emotions that come with change. We can identify the strengths you have to overcome these hurdles and process through the difficult emotions that may come up in our time together.

No matter what the transition is, we will work together to help you navigate through this change and face uncertainty head on with strength.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Tampa in Florida. I’m currently pursuing an MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. I have previous experience conducting research on the help-seeking behaviors for psychological distress in college students and exploring identity development in young adults.

MORE ABOUT ME

I’m originally from Upstate New York, and have moved around for my schooling in order to experience more of the U.S. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Rolo, taking him on walks and hikes frequently. Additionally, I am an avid music lover – and attend music festivals around the country as often as I can.

Please contact our office today to schedule a free phone consultation. During this time our Client Care Coordinator can talk more about what’s going on and how I can help you feel better.
