Hello! I am Ryan Ciaburri. I’m a therapist here at Denver Mental Health Collective, but you can also call me an Identity Explorer, Trauma Healer, and Anxiety Tamer. I am passionate about creating a space where each client can strive to transform into their most authentic selves and to gain an insight and have peace in their mental health. My ideal clients are emerging young adults that are experiencing anxiety, trauma responses, and individuals in the LGBTQ+ community.
Identity Explorer
Struggling with identity can be often confusing and deeply impact our lives and sense of belonging. I strive to assist clients in exploration of their identity and I have experience specifically with the transgender community.
Trauma Healer
Have you experienced a traumatic event that often still has large impacts on your daily functioning? My passion is to create a safe environment for every client that walks through my door, to explore and heal from their past traumas. I utilize techniques such as somatic experiencing, mindfulness techniques, and in the next few months, I hope to become EMDR trained.
Anxiety Tamer
Are you often feeling nervous, on edge, and are unable to relax? This can often lead to us feeling out of control of our own body and experiences. I will work with you to have a deeper understanding of your anxiety and to aid in your peace of mind.
Education and Training
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of New Haven in 2022. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I have previous experience working with the transgender community and emerging adults experiencing life transitions and anxiety.
MORE ABOUT ME
I have 3 cats that I absolutely love and adore. In my spare time, I enjoy socializing with the people that make me feel whole, hiking, and exploring new places and trying new foods with my partner!
