My pronouns are she, her, and hers. I’m a social worker and registered psychotherapist, but you can also think of me as an emotion tamer, strength booster, and personal transformation instigator. It takes courage and vulnerability to seek out help – and I’m glad you found us!

Are you or a loved one experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, or a confused sense of self? Are these emotions or behaviors being magnified by a life transition? These challenges can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to face them alone. Whether you are a child who struggles to manage big emotions or an adult who needs guidance through a life transition, I am here to help.

Throughout my career, I have especially enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and young adults. As a therapist, I support clients in harnessing their strengths to overcome and evolve from life’s challenges. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in my therapeutic approach. While applying these techniques, I incorporate principles of trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and strengths-based practice in order to best meet each client’s unique needs.

Personal Transformation Instigator

I am inspired by a fundamental belief in the power of transformation. My practice is rooted in the notion that all individuals have unique strengths that can be difficult to fully realize when emotional pain feels overwhelming. Through the therapeutic process, I hope that clients will find beauty and pride in their transformations.

Education and Training

Eight years ago, I discovered my love for the field of mental health care. I have since practiced in a variety of settings to provide outpatient therapy and crisis management to individuals across ages and demographics. Along the way, I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Boston University and my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to providing the best care possible by training in effective and research-based treatment orientations. As was mentioned above, my primary specialties include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

More About Me

In addition to my work as a clinician, I have been heavily involved in researching evidence-based interventions in service of youth mental health. I am presently working on a study examining best practices for homeless young adults at risk for substance use dependency.

In my spare time, I love to explore new restaurants, practice yoga, or spend quality time with loved ones. I also enjoy art in all its forms, ranging from calligraphy to film and television.
