Hello, I’m Sneha! I am a board certified Art Therapist at the Denver Mental Health Collective. You can also think of me as an Expressive Healer, Empowerment Builder, and Regulation Master. In art therapy no artistic skill is needed, you just need an openness to the creative process. I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages struggling with mood disorders, trauma, addiction, and women’s issues.
Expressive Healer
The road to healing often begins in finding your voice and expressing your inner self. Traumatic experiences are often stored in nonverbal areas of the brain. The creative process engages the brain in a different way to access these emotions and memories in a safe way. I offer art therapy activities specific to your needs.
Empowerment Builder
The creative process itself can be a source of confidence, control, and self-exploration. As a trauma survivor, a step towards healing is integrating those experiences into your present self. I am holistic in my approach and address systemic influences on identity, relationships, and functioning. Through building self-empowerment you can have agency in different circles in your life.
Regulation Master
Through art therapy, you will learn ways to reconnect with your body’s signals, increase mindfulness, and seek ways to calm your senses. I will support you as you practice the skills you learn in sessions so they are easily transferable to your daily life to thrive at work, school, and in your relationships.
