Information for New Clients

Your First Appointment:

  • Your appointment date and time can be found in the confirmation email and tx message that was sent to you on the day of booking.
  • You will receive a second confirmation email and tx message 48 hours prior to your appointment.
  • As a reminder, this is not a recurring appointment time. You will discuss future appointments with your clinician at the end of your first appointment.
  • You may contact our Intake Coordinator directly (hello@denvermhc.com ) with any questions or appointment changes for your initial session
  • Your clinicians contact information  can be found at the bottom of this page in the Clinician Directory

Getting to your appointment: 

  • For virtual appointments, you will also receive a link to your appointment 15 minutes prior to the start time.
  • DMHC is located at 2121 S Oneida St, Denver, CO 80224.
    • We have two offices: Suite 530 on the fifth floor & Suite 600 on the sixth floor.
    • Please have a seat when you arrive, your clinician will come to greet you. Help yourself to a snack or water while you wait.

Paying for your appointment: 

  • A majority of our clients utilize insurance. We will bill your insurance directly.
  • We will charge your out-of-pocket costs to the card on file on the day of your appointment.
  • You can change the credit card on file using the client portal.
  • You may contact our billing department directly (billing@denvermhc.com) with any questions or insurance changes.

Cancellations

  • We have a late cancellation/no show policy. Here it is: DMHC requires a notice of 48 hours or two business days if you cannot keep a scheduled appointment. A non-refundable $90 fee applies to all appointments canceled within 48 hours (Thursday for Monday). This cancellation policy reflects our commitment to you and respect for your time.
  • Your clinician will review this policy with you during your first appointment, this policy is active for your first appointment
  • For future scheduling issues, you will contact your clinician directly.
