Hello! My name is Sarah Bowman. I’m a therapist here at Denver Mental Health Collective, but you can also call me a Mindfulness Driver, Life Transition Supporter, & Anxiety Tamer. I help those who struggle with anxiety and life transitions and want to navigate strategies, techniques, and coping skills to accomplish their goals. My ideal clients are adolescents or adults who are seeking support and willing to begin the healing process. I work with individuals who are recovering from trauma, struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, or those who simply need a safe space to talk.
Mindfulness Driver:
Do you struggle with staying engaged in the present moment? Do you find yourself taking shallow breaths when stressed? Are you interested in learning how to connect your mind and body to enhance your daily functioning? Deep breathing and meditation are excellent tools for exploring mindfulness techniques. Together, we can discover the methods that work best for you and maximize mindfulness in your life.
Life Transition Supporter:
Have you felt overwhelmed by a significant life change? Are you struggling with the unique stressors that come with transitions like starting a new job or moving to a new place? Seeking therapy for life transitions can help you adjust to these changes and provide a safe space for reflection.
Anxiety Tamer:
Do you find yourself feeling tense, nervous, or unable to relax? Are you struggling to control your worries? Addressing anxiety involves moving at your pace, identifying triggers, and creating an environment where you can recognize and make improvements.
Education & Training
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado, with a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. I have experience working with adolescents facing homelessness and adults dealing with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, PTSD, trauma, relationship challenges, and grief.

I have 2 dogs that I absolutely adore. In my spare time, I enjoy plants, reading, watching the newest binge-worthy TV show on Netflix, spoiling my pups, and spending time with my family.
