Hello! I’m Casey, a therapist here at Denver Mental Health Collective. I am passionate about supporting trauma survivors, queer and questioning folks, and emotionally overwhelmed humans who are healing from relational or developmental trauma, navigating identity, self-worth, religious trauma, or major life transitions. Together we can cultivate self-compassion, reduce shame, and reconnect with self-acceptance and self-trust in therapy that is affirming, thoughtful, and client-centered.
My approach is humanistic and trauma-informed, with an emphasis on meeting you exactly where you are. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating enough emotional safety for real exploration and growth to happen. Do you ever wonder how some of your choices and behaviors have been keeping you safe and protected but are no longer serving you? What can you learn about yourself and how you can intentionally curate your path forward? I would be honored to take this journey with you.
I work from a systems-informed, liberation-focused lens that recognizes how identity, culture, power, and context shape our inner lives. Therapy with me centers curiosity, self-acceptance, and helping you reconnect with your own internal wisdom, rather than pushing change before you’re ready.

WHY I DO THIS WORK
I do this work because I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and safe in their own life. I’ve witnessed how shame, trauma, and societal pressures can quietly shape our choices, our relationships, and how we see ourselves. My passion is helping people uncover their own resilience, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and step into the freedom to live authentically.
BEST PART OF MY JOB
Witnessing a human being as they discover freedom
